iBeacon Apps and How They Ease Your Life

Through the year, iBeacon device is known as most worthy technology by far. Integrating with apps that will make it even worth and used in many retail business. iBeacon apps has been growing lately since push notification is something that makes people keep updated.

Another new apps, that is still in prototype, will serve you a seat in a coffee shop. The app will charge you by how long you sit in the coffee shop. It is called Croissant, the app uses Apple’s iBeacon technology to monitor when you are nearby.

Installing this app is a little more complex than a simple app download. Coffee shops would need to install iBeacons at the seats and tables in order for customers to reserve their spot at a coffee shop. The idea behind it is that potential consumers could pick a spot in advance and something similar to a meter (think a parking meter) would lock down the reservation.

The downside? There’s a cost. You would have to pay (again, similar to a parking meter) to reserve your spot via the Croissant app. The upside is that if all patrons will have to pay for their seats, then chances are the ones who have decided to sit there for hours won’t be staying there too long.
