Barkid; Never Lose Your Child

Sometimes, children may be forgotten in the car, they may run away from the school yard, or they may simply disappear from view when a parent becomes distracted.

Although there are many technological solutions to this problem, all of them have major flaws in the aspects of safety, comfort, and price. Now, there is a product that is approaching perfection: it’s called Barkid.

BarKid is composed of a bracelet for your child and an app for your smart phone. This special bracelet, designed especially for children, with ibeacon Apple technology, the smart bracelet does not use GPS or a SIM card and does not require frequent charging.

The app interfaces with the bracelet, allowing the user access to many special features. It sounds an alert whenever a child leaves the defined area. These alerts ensure that children are never left behind in cars, shopping malls, or other public places by mistake.

In the event that a child does become lost, you can tap the “report missing” button. From that point on, any Barkid user that your child approaches will get an alert on your child and will be able to contact you at the touch of a button. Furthermore, teachers of young children can greatly benefit from the use of this product because they can keep track of the entry and exit of children from the school. They also have the option to press the panic button in case of an emergency.

BarKid is specially designed for children for both fun and convenience, allowing them access to online educational games with their favorite cartoon character featured on the bracelet.

This is the only bracelet parents will want their children to wear, and the only bracelet that kids will want to wear. Don’t say “it won’t happen to us” – stay tuned for BarKid’s presentation on Kickstarter on May 26, 2015.  We expect it to gather a lot of interest from people all over the world!
