I wrote about Internet of Things for Logistics previously and it was such a good implementation for logistics to start easy way in developing logistic system that sometimes has to be done manually.
Same with logistic that can grow with technology, Industrial control can be deployed with technology to ease their process. Here are some implementation of Internet of Things for Industrial Control:
1. Indoor Air Quality
Monitoring toxic gas and oxygen levels inside chemical plants to ensure workers and goods is safe from dangerous chemical gases.
2. Ozone Presence
Monitoring ozone levels during the drying meat process in food factories to get good result and to make sure that it is in a safe condition.
3. Temperature Monitoring
Control temperature inside industrial and medical fridges with sensitive merchandise to avoid any damage.
4. M2M Application
Machine auto-diagnosis and assets control.
5. Indoor Location
Asset indoor location by using active (ZigBee) and passive tags (RFID/NFC).
6. Vehicle Auto-diagnosis
Information collection from CanBus to send real time alarms to emergencies or provide advice to drivers.
