I wrote about some Internet of Things Implementation in Logistic and Retail Business. Internet of Things Implementation can be used as easy way to manage devices around us.
Another example of Internet of Things is for Smart Agriculture. Agriculture is probably least concerned subject in the world. But in fact, world needs agriculture industry to keep living. Without it, We probably cannot eat healthy food right now.
To deploy Internet of Things for Smart Agriculture is one of idea in developing Internet of Thing. This can also makes Agriculture easier. Here are examples of Internet of Things for Smart Agriculture:
1. Green Houses
Control micro-climate conditions to maximize the production of fruits and vegetables and its quality with a single device through IoT Technology.
2. Compost
Control humidity and temperature levels in alfalfa, hay, straw, etc. to prevent fungus and other microbial contaminants.
3. Meteorological Station Network
Study the weather conditions in fields to forecast ice formation, rain, drought, snow or wind changes so you can prepare on your agriculture set.
4. Wine Quality Enhancing
Monitoring soil moisture and trunk diameter in vineyards to control the amount of sugar in grapes and grapevine health.
5. Golf Courses
Selective irrigation in dry zones to reduce the water resources required in the green.
